COCKTAIL CHAMPION VISITS THE HOME OF VODKA
On Monday the 2nd I joined to take part into the ICE (International Cocktail Experience) programme - an exciting 4 days of introduction to the Wyborowa Vodka world..!This amazing event took part in Warsaw and Poznan (Poland) where Wyborowa Vodka was born in 1823 and is still made in the same traditional way.
25 lucky guests from the bar industry had the chance to learn more about spirits, where they are from, how are they made, flavours, how to mix them…a master class was given to us by Dre Dragon (the Ronaldo of the bartending world). We visited very good bars and restaurants there, amazing food, incredible people and bottles of vodka everywhere.
To complete the journey we went to Poznan where this vodka is distilled and we had a vodka tasting class. An amazing cocktail competition followed - I do love my job..! Thanks to Bar Room Bar. SUITS – On the catwalks of Milan this spring, suits were making a come back. Raid your wardrobe for a figure flattering double-breasted classic.
VOLUME – Go with the flow and look for floaty billowy shirts, blouses or dresses this spring. The more material, the better.
COLOUR – Accessories are great way to update a dark suit or a little black dress. Add a splash of colour with a bright tie, scarf or necklace.
It’s worth noting, a pink and red palette will be big this winter – everything from brick reds to fluorescent magentas.

THE MAILBOX IS FULL ON VALENTINES DAY
It’s not easy being a singleton on Valentine’s Day - especially if you’re surrounded by smug married couples. So we decided to change all that and highjack cupid for the night, at the Mailbox, Birmingham.
Going back to our industrial heritage, we gave every girl a ‘Nut’ and every guy a ‘Bolt’ to see who’d find the perfect fit.
